  • An Amazing telling of Gods word

My Husband and I watched this movie together and our faith in Christ has been renewed. I can watch it over and over again. I can't wait to see AD when it comes out Easter 2015.

The actors did a very good job portraying the bible. For those of you who complain about the show not showering everything, just remember the cast hat 10 hours to shoot the whole film. Also this series highlight the main stories in the bible, not every little thing. For those of you who complain that it has some inaccuracies, there might be a few but you have to remember that people today are portraying the bible and they are trying their best to do it. The only way to get 100% accuracy is to go back in time and think like those actually people did. Overall, I think it is one of the best and most accurate show of the bible stories there is. IT WAS GREAT!!!
  • Be cautious

Do we really need a dramatic bible series to watch? I personally feel the Bible in and of itself is amazing with stories to read about Gods amazing teachings. We shouldn’t have to look to a live action tv series to find the word of God entertaining. And I would put heavy biblical caution on this series, it might not be biblically correct doctrine . Always check to see if what you watch is align with the word of God in the bible.
  • Buy the Jesus episodes at least

The first four-and-a-half episodes play like a “best of” reel, linked together only by the dulcet tones of Captain Anderson (er—Keith David) but once we got to the gospels… The political intrigue, the interconnected lives, you get a major sense that this really happened. Which I believe it did (otherwise the Romans would not have failed to crush us). This is what I wish the decades-old Jesus film was. Fortunately, the directors agree, and made a new miniseries on the early church. look up “AD The Bible Continues". It’s still being released at the time of this review, and is even more well done than the Gospel section here. For the devout Christian, understand that a mini-series can only go so deep with such a vast amount of material on which it’s based, and just enjoy the ride for what it is. For the agnostic, this is the best starting point you’ve had since CS Lewis released the Narnia books.

  • Star Wars is better fiction than the bible

    By Jfkfjgjfjfv
As fiction goes, the book called the bible is not bad. Star Wars is much much better though.
