Childish, amateurish, witless, badly acted junk. Tired old idea that’s been done so much better before.

I’ve only watched the first episode, to be clear, but so far this show doesn’t look very good. I don’t think it’s terrible either. It’s just not very interesting and it’s a little too odd for me to get into. The Good Place is in a similar sort of vein, and while it isn’t a perfect show either I feel like the execution is a little better there than it is here.

The show is fantastic so far. If you are open to the dry humor of Daniel Radcliffe and the perfect portrayal of Steve Buscemi as God who has become tired of his creation because he feels like he can’t fix all their problems and decides to blow up earth, then you will dig this. The cast is awesome and I actively laugh out loud while watching the show so far. It won’t be for everyone but I sure like it.

The shoe puts an interesting twist on the world around us and makes it funny with the unique characters intermingling. Seriously hope it gets a few years in its stride.

This show is genius. It is creative, funny, sad, and entertaining. The actors to a spectacular job and portray their characters perfectly. Each character is so different yet so similar and you can relate to every one. The whole idea is so original and hilarious. I would highly recommend this show and I advise that you watch it!

I enjoyed getting to know the characters, and I would like to see more of their stories. The ending feels like the show could be further developed, but all of the reports say it is a single-season series. Great acting and writing all around!
  • What were they thinking?

This must be the worst written, worst acted, worst directed show I’ve ever seen. It’s cringing to watch. What were they thinking? It’s horrible amateuristic, not funny, not smart, not original or creative and seems to target kids till 8.

The characters are what really sells this show, from the very first scene I was hooked, the only drawback is that I can only watch their stories play out for 20min before waiting another week. Heaven is conceptualized as a corporation whose staff appear mortal in every sense (exept for the dying part). If small unanswered details bother you, you might not like this show. If, however, you like character-driven stories, and looking at old concepts through a new (and humorous) lens, then you're going to love this show.
