Bursting pipes, rotting walls, and unidentifiable slime were not what Don Koch (WWE legend Phil 'CM Punk' Brooks) expected when he convinced his wife Liz (Trieste Kelly Dunn) that he could rehab their new Victorian home himself. In over his head, under duress, and tempted by his old weaknesses, Don soon discovers that the house has its own dark, sordid history and won't be so easy to renovate after all...

Great horror movie. Wasn’t expecting it. And he’s not bad to look at either.
  • CM PUNK FANS - Get this!

WOW! I never imagined he would be so effective as an actor but if you're a fan you need to see this. Even if you're not a fan of him and you just love horror movies, i think this one will make it into the history books as a Halloween staple. It has some major staying power!

  • Not great...

Don’t believe the reviews below. It was a slow-burn with an anticlimactic “reveal” that still doesn’t add any heightened stakes to the narrative or include any real “plot twist.” The story feels like it goes nowhere, the character development is nonexistent, and the direction feels messy and purposeless at the end. Now that I think about it, it wasn’t even scary, it was moreso gross than anything. Take my word for it and wait to rent this until it’s available for 99¢, or just don’t bother at all.
  • Sala little horror picture

This was a surprise. What started off as a basic haunted house film twisted into elements of Cronenberg and body horror with a little Silent Hill thrown in for good measure. Really a fun movie and one sequence, in particular, has CM Punk channeling Bruce Campbell. Really a surprise.
  • Turrible

This movie isn’t worth watching. Even if it is free. Had I known CM Punk was the lead I would not have rented it. His acting is as good as his MMA.
