Sir David Attenborough takes a journey back in time to discover how the very first animals developed on our planet.
Captivating as it is informative

This two episode show, which occupies a somewhat late/middle point in Attenborough’s evolution odyssey, is full of still relevant (& oddly timely) info & is presented in near perfection by Sir Attenborough (whose work has awoken in me a deep love for too many an -ology to account for here). I watched it once, twice, five dozen times then I was like “pooooffff” hooked. My only issue with the show is that the story of the discovery of Charnia ignores/fails to mention Tina. But hey, I only learned that bc I watched it & became really interested in Charnia, that funky fractal gem of deep. Simply Splendid & not to be passed over.
